We start at the beginning of Promiselands with morning tea, social catch up and registering, quickly moving on to games and challenges based on this weeks Bible learning. We have a large worship time which combines singing, dance, sign language and multi media viewing.
Heaps of fun for all the Children aged 5 - 10 years old.
Branded Youth meets each term Wednesday at the Church, 7:15 -9:00pm. It is open to all youth in year 9-year 13. Wednesday Nights includes: games, worship, powerful messages to inspire the youth in a dynamic environment. As well the Wednesday programmes Branded has Saturday Night social events, Camps (including the big BYM Easter Camp), and joins with other youth for the monthly United Church Services.
The Station is an interactive service run on Sunday nights. It starts at 7pm. This is a great place to connect with people. We start with coffee and then sing some worship songs. The message is interactive, meaning that you are not just been spoken to, but there is opportunity to share your thoughts on the subject. If you’re looking for a couple of words to describe “The Station” then these words come to mind; laid back, friendly and informative. Come and join us.
Do you feel left out at your current Church? Would you like to have some input? Do you feel you have something to offer? Than come and see the Ministry Leadership team. There is plenty of oppertunity to share you gift with the local Church body.
This is a quarterly service held on Sunday afternoon that caters specially for those with intellectual disabilities while being free for all to come. Each service includes some music, a craft time, some teaching and ends with afteroon tea. Keep an eye on the notices to see when the next Joy Ministry Service is - they are great fun.
Joy Ministries in 2009 will have some attending a camp in Matamata run by Christian Ministry for the Disabled over Labour Weekend.
