Joy Ministries
This is a quarterly service held on a Sunday afternoon that caters specially for those with disabilities while all are welcome to come. Each service includes some music, a craft time, some teaching and ends with afteroon tea. They are great fun.
Since 2011 Joy Ministries have had some attending a camp in Matamata run by Christian Ministry for the Disabled over Labour Weekend.
We celebrated, in November of 2018, 10 years of Joy Ministry at Taupo Baptist, with friends joining from Havelock North, as well as our surprise guest from the South, Keith Harrington, the former Pastor of Taupo Baptist when Joy Ministry was established here.
