Share the hope this easter with our Cross campaign
This Easter, we’re inviting our community to take part in something simple, visible, and powerful. Across Taupō, wooden crosses will be displayed on front lawns, outside businesses, and at church properties as a visible reminder of the true meaning of Easter. In a season that can easily become busy and commercialised, the cross gently and boldly points us back to the hope we have in Jesus.
Each cross stands 2.4 metres high and 1.2 metres wide — a clear and recognisable symbol of faith, sacrifice, and resurrection life. Together, as more crosses appear across our town, they create a united message: there is hope.
The cross represents:

• God’s love for our community
  
• Forgiveness and new beginnings
  
• Light overcoming darkness
  
• Hope that is available to everyone
  

We would love you to be part of it. Whether you place a cross on your property, help sponsor one, or assist with positioning and installation, you are helping share the Easter message in a practical and visible way.
For payment, please pay at the church office (open Monday to Thursday | 8:30am – 12:00pm).

Connect with our Women’s Ministry

• Monday Walks – Every week at 9:00am, starting from the Sea Scout Den.
• Coffee Catch-Ups – The last Saturday of each month at 10:00am at the Millennium Hotel Café.
• Book Club – Second Tuesday of each month.

We’d also love you to join us for our Progressive Dinner on 28 March — a wonderful evening of food, fellowship, and connection.

Every second Sunday, we come together to share a meal, laughter, and friendship—no stress, no fuss, just good food and great company.
